The problem
Most operational software gets bought one department at a time — a finance tool here, an HR platform there, a CRM because sales asked for it — and none of it was ever designed to share data. The result is an organization running on five different systems, none of which agree with each other, all of which someone has to manually reconcile at month-end.
For growing institutions specifically — universities, INGOs, manufacturers, NGOs — this fragmentation compounds. Admissions data doesn't talk to finance. Muslim Youth University's complete operating platform — a 17-application system built on Frappe, delivered across four phases over fourteen months, covering everything from admissions to OBE compliance to alumni relations. MUST's separate Odoo implementation, handling a different layer of institutional operations.
